2019 DIT School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering becomes part of the newly formed Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), merging with the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB) and the Institute of Technology Tallaght (ITT).
2015 Professor Michael Conlon was appointed as the head of the DIT School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
2015 The school was expected to be the first from the College of Engineering and Built Environment to relocate to the new DIT Grangegorman Campus in September 2018.
