June 10 2022 JPL released a report documenting record high temperatures in Las Vegas, NV, where air temperature reached 43°C (109°F). Ground temperature measurements showed significant variations: asphalt surfaces at 50°C (122°F), suburban neighborhood surfaces at 42°C (108°F), and green spaces at 37°C (99°F).
