2015 Wanderers have a prominent international performance, qualifying for the Round of 16 in the Libertadores Cup by finishing second in a group with Boca Juniors, Palestino, and Zamora F.C. They are ultimately eliminated by Racing de Avellaneda.
2014 Under Alfredo Arias's leadership, Wanderers are crowned Champions of the Closing Tournament, winning the Clausura and Annual Table with a goal by Maximiliano Olivera. They lose the Uruguayan Championship on penalties against Danubio.
