2019 The US Congress adopted a resolution recognizing the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea as essential to the success of Korean democracy.
April 11 2019 South Korea celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Korean Provisional Government (KPG) in Yeouido Park. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon, National Assembly Speaker Moon Hee-sang, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Park Han-ki. Surviving KPG members and their families were present, and the 'Provisional Charter of the Republic of Korea' was read. South Korean actor Kang Ha-neul delivered a narrative piece, and Shinee member Onew performed in a military musical about the Shinheung Military Academy.
