April 11 2019 | South Korea celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Korean Provisional Government (KPG) in Yeouido Park. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon, National Assembly Speaker Moon Hee-sang, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Park Han-ki. Surviving KPG members and their families were present, and the 'Provisional Charter of the Republic of Korea' was read. South Korean actor Kang Ha-neul delivered a narrative piece, and Shinee member Onew performed in a military musical about the Shinheung Military Academy. |
