2024 The Australian Commonwealth and Queensland governments announced a multi-million dollar investment (US$250 million) in PsiQuantum to build the world's first utility-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computer in Brisbane, Queensland, with plans to have the system operational by the end of 2027.
July 2024 PsiQuantum signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with five Queensland universities to develop educational programs in quantum fields and collaborate on research projects.
